Art comes in many forms | Lifestyle

I want to touch people with my art. I want them to say ‘he feels deeply, he feels tenderly.’ ”  ~ Vincent Van Gogh

A while earlier I had suggested we explore a henna crown to compliment her wedding dress. I loved the artistic beauty of the henna and thought it would look amazing.

I know you’ll want to ask but my beautiful sister-in-law to be is not sick but rather has Alopecia and is beautifully bald. Shauna and I booked with this amazing woman I met over a year ago. I was drawn to her. We would do a ‘test’ piece to determine the color of henna to use and address the concerns that Shauna had. That first appointment Shauna and I experienced the incredible talent of Samreen of Traditional Glimpse and we were both moved, emotional and so excited. We talked ideas, but truly Shauna left the design up to the artist, ” I know you’ll create something beautiful.”

Samreen did Shauna’s crown the other day, it was the first crown that Samreen had done and it is so beautiful.

The perfect ‘added touch’ for her Mexico wedding and I could not be happier for both of them.

An added note… Shauna’s hair is growing back and hopefully its stays.
